Donal now lives in Dublin, Ireland after studying abroad in the US. His paintings include a wide variety of subjects from cityscapes, landscapes, portraits, equestrian scenes and mural painting. Returning from his studies at the New York Academy NY. He has worked on large scale mural paintings for both the corporate sector and the church. The most recent commission he has completed is the new altarpiece for the Church of Our Saviours, Manhattan, New York City. Based on a Byzantine icon, the painting is 24ft high by 14ft wide. He also painted six large scale icon images of the saints on both sides of the altar area.
