1Portrait photographic studio is based in Dublin, Ireland and was founded by award winning photographer Bryan Brophy who is a fully qualified member of the Irish Professional Photographers Association. We are a wholly Irish owned company. At 1Portrait we specialise in photographing babies, children and families of all ages. Our modern studio in Templeogue offers a relaxed, family friendly environment which helps us create natural, timeless images for you and your family to cherish for years to come. We don't offer 'Fast Food Style' photography like some studio's who claim to be modern, images viewed the same day etc. We believe that this style of photography dates very quickly and eventually ends up in the attic or spare room. We believe in spending time on both the photography and printing/framing, providing the sitter/s with a beautiful timeless finished piece which lasts a lifetime. We offer a wide range of hand-made frames along with beautiful frameless canvases and block mounted pieces, all of which are on display at our studio. Please NB: All our solid wooden frames are handmade and to the highest of standards, not 'Ready Made' frames as used by some photographers.
