A short biography:
Frances Ryan was born in the West of Ireland and currently lives and works in Bangor, Co. Down, Northern Ireland.
She trained at Dun Laoghaire College of Art & Design, graduating in 1997 (Fine Art).
She has had solo exhibitions in Belfast, Dublin and Cork and has taken part in group exhibitions in Ireland and the UK.
Awards include:
Arts Council of Northern Ireland SIAP (Support for Individual Artists Programme) 2024, 2019, 2016,
Ards & North Down Development Award, Northern Ireland (2021 and 2019) ,
Paul Henry Landscape Award at the Royal Ulster Academy Belfast (2014 and 2006),
