good for beginners September 5, 2010 G. Marsden this is good if you don't have much time or are a beginner it is fairly easy
Simple and effective August 23, 2010 N. Crawford (Surrey) I love this range of DVDs and this is my newest addition. The excersises are easy to follow and easy to do and are certainly benefitial to me as as I am already beginning to see results. The instructor is a little annoying but in a nice way! Have sussed the toning, now need to tackle the cardio (which I hate - any suggestions please?)!

This dvd is one of the best fitness dvd's i've bought. The exercises are so simple to do but so effective, you can really feel them working during and afterwards. It is a toning dvd but you do get a sweat on when doing it all together. Within 2 weeks of using solely this dvd every other day i was getting comments on how much weight they thought i had lost. I usually do 3 in one go so half an hour which is great for me. I have noticed the difference in my clothes fitting better, and have reccommended the dvd so many times already. This dvd is perfect for any level i feel but definatley beginners and intermediate level, because its so easy to follow and do. I had a baby 4 months ago by cesarian and even the tummy ones dont aggrevate my muscles, i feel it working but i dont get pain like i have with some other exercises. A must dvd for any new mum, woman or i think someone with ailments, the workouts are so easy they can be adapted quite well.
OK, but a bit annoying! August 11, 2010 janeeneyb I found the workout to be quite good but for me the instructor was quite annoying and patronising! I Also have to say that when it started, the first thing I thought was 'I don't want a body like that!' - she's quite muscular, a bit like Madonna, and that's really not the look I wanted - this DVD was used once and won't be coming out again. I've moved on to Pilates perfect body from the 10 minute solution series which is brilliant!

I bought several 10 Minute Solutions dvds and liked them all but this one is my favourite. I regularly enjoy running and compete in half marathons, but I think it is important to vary workouts and do strength training to help improve running performance and this is where this dvd comes in as I enjoy the toning squats and lunges in the dvd. They are important basic workouts and they don't feel too challenging while doing them, however, my muscles are definitely sore for a day or two after!! I like the instructor her tone of voice is soothing and encouraging and she looks amazingly toned- never seen a six pack like this on a woman! I love all five segments of the dvd and I would highly recommend the dvd to everyone. This morning I did all 50 minutes of the dvd, but I love the fact that if I don't have time then I will at least try to fit in one or two segments ;)
